Nu har jag pysslat lite och installerat ett plugin så det ska se lite bättre ut med recept. Ska bli bättre att lägga upp sånt här på bloggen, kan väl va värt tänkte jag eftersom jag spenderar 80% av min vakna tid genom att antingen laga, äta eller tänka på mat.
I installed a recipe-plugin to make it a bit nicer! Since I spend most of my time either eating, cooking or thinking about food this seemed reasonable. Now I can share all the good stuff I make here and feel like a pro foodblogger hehe.
One thing I always find myself craving since my decision to become vegan(except for the occasional dreams about moosemeat and swedish cheese) is feta cheese! Thats why I’m very happy to introduce to you guys this tofu feta cheese that is 100% vegan and still delicious!
Its based on tofu so its missing that nice moshy feta-structure, but eventually I will figure this out. I’m working on it. Anyway, you’ll need to press the tofu first, which is really easy! Just put it on a paper cloth on a cuttingboard, put a papercloth on it and then place something heavy on top! I ex a book or a bowl filled with water. Leave it for 30 minutes or more and you’re done!
Moving on to the recipe:
- 350 g tofu (nonpressed)
- 1,5 tbsp tamaripaste
- 0,7 dl lime juice
- 1 dl water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 krm white pepper
- 2 tsp oregano
- Press the tofu for at least 30 minutes
- Mix the rest of the ingredients in a jar (or bowl or plastic bag)
- Cut the tofu to small pieces and add to the jar
- Leave in the fridge for 12-24 hours
- If you dont have tamari, use apple cider vinegar or more lime juice instead.
When you’ve put everything together you just leave it like this for 12-24 hours!
And then its done! Put it in a salad, on a sandwich or a pizza:
